NC Chitwan District Election Officer resigns



BHARATPUR: Election Officer, Kamal Mohan Pokhrel, who was tasked to convene the Nepali Congress (NC) convention in Chitwan, has resigned.

He has written a letter to the coordinator of the Central Election Committee informing about his resignation.

Pokharel said that he was unable to convene the district convention as his health condition was not favorable.

He has urged the Central Election Committee to accept his resignation. Pokharel was tasked with holding elections for various levels of NC Chitwan in wards, municipalities, state assemblies, constituencies and district committees.
