Karnali CM Shahi seeking vote of confidence today



KATHMANDU: Chief Minister (CM) of Karnali Province, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, is seeking a vote of confidence in today’s meeting of the provincial assembly.

The vote on the proposal would be held in the meeting scheduled for today.

The meeting to be held on Tuesday was postponed without forwarding further process related to the motion of confidence after province assembly members of the CPN (UML) remained absent in the meeting, according to Speaker Raj Bahadur Shahi.

The provincial assembly members of the CPN (UML) remained absent in Tuesday’s meeting as they were in Chitwan to participate in the 10th National Congress of their party.
