CPN-UML alone will win majority, claims Chair Oli



CHITWAN: Chairperson of main opposition party, CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli has said that the UML alone would bring majority in upcoming parliamentary election.

Addressing the first convention of UML Bharatpur Metropolitan City in Chitwan Monday, Chair Oli shared that the UML alone would bring majority in the upcoming parliamentary election without forging alliance with any other party. He mentioned, “The party will involve in election preparation after its 10th general convention. We have to bring majority in the election. Let’s make preparation for this. The UML will go for election alone without joining hands with other parties.”

Saying the UML has moved ahead with a determination to bring majority in three-tier of election, the UML Chair argued that no one can stop the UML from it. He further said that the UML would respect every vote of the people, stating UML believed in democracy.

Chair Oli also challenged the opposition parties to stop the CPN (UML) from getting majority, adding that national goal ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ should be fulfilled to prepare basis of socialism. He asked the party’s leaders and cadres to forget what had happened yesterday and move ahead being united, urging the party leaders and cadres to involve in election activities to get victory in all constituencies of Chitwan district.

Similarly, UML’s Standing Committee member Ram Bahadur Thapa said that the country has been pushed and trapped into the political instability. The UML would lead the country after getting majority vote in upcoming election, added Thapa.

Likewise, leader Prabhu Sah claimed that the UML would win the elections in Province 2. Leaders—Surendra Pandey, Madhav Dhungel, Ram Prasad Neupane, among others also expressed their views.
