JANAKPURDHAM: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the party leadership needs a transformation rather than a generational transformation.
“The party needs transformation more than generational transformation,” Poudel told a press conference organized by the Nepal Press Union Dhanusha in Janakpurdham on Monday morning.
He said that there is a need for leadership who can lead the nation and who can face the opposition.
Stating that there is no question of appointing anyone as party President, Poudel said that it should be left to the party cadres to decide who will be the party president.
He claimed that the Nepali Congress had made the constitution in such a way that everyone would get the opportunity.
