Nepal sees 1,066 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

13 more die of coronavirus taking pandemic death toll to 11,148



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 1,066 new cases of coronavirus while 938 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 898 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 168 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 266 cases in Kathmandu, 31 in Bhaktapur and 62 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 359 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 13 infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking to COVID-19 death toll to 11,148 till date.
