Passengers sans face-mask not allowed to use public vehicle from today



KATHMANDU: Passengers who do not wear face masks will not be allowed to board public vehicles in the Kathmandu Valley from today.

A meeting of the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur took a decision to this effect with effective from today.
This decision has been taken in view of the possible crowds in the federal capital.

According to decision, the public vehicle is not allowed to carry passengers more than its number of seats, passengers must put on face masks, the driver has to wear face mask, visor, globes and has to keep sanitizer at the door of the bus and passengers have to mandatorily wear face masks.

This order will remain effective until the further notice, according to the District Administration Office (DOA), Kathmandu.
People are requested not to come out it is urgent, not to gather and conduct rallies and assemblies and observe festivals with a limited number of people.
