SC hearing writ petition against Speaker Sapkota today



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) is scheduled to hear the case against Speaker Agni Sapkota today.

A writ petition had been filed against Sapkota for his alleged involvement in the murder of Arjun Lama.

This writ petition against Speaker is sub-judice at the apex court.

Human rights activist Shushil Pyakurel, journalist Kanakmani Dikshit including Purnimaya Lama, the deceased’s wife, had lodged a writ petition.

The writ petition has often been postponed even though it is scheduled in the causelist.
