Maoist Center urges govt to object to India in Bajura incident

KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center has expressed serious objection against the Indian SSB’s involvement in Darchula case related with the Nepali national missing in the tuin in the Mahakali River.

According to Maoist Center Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the Standing Committee meeting of the party held in Paris Danda, Kathmandu, on Sunday, objected to the SSB’s role of cutting down the tuin and decided to urge the government to object officially to Indian government on the issue.

Maoist Center demanded the government to investigate the case of Jay Singh Dhami who went missing while trying to cross the Mahakali River.

“Dhami fell into the Mahakali River and disappeared after the Indian SSB personnel cut the tuin while he was on his way to India from Khangdang, Malghat in Byas-2 of Darchula district,” Shrestha said, adding, “The party decided to object it and demanded that the government investigate it in details and take action against the culprits.”
