UDAYPUR: Three members of the same family have succumbed to coronavirus in Khaijanpur village of Triyuga Municipality-2 in Udayapur district.

According to Ward Chairman Ghaman Singh Khatri, Raman Pokhrel, 43, Hemraj Pokhrel, 38, and Devi Pokhrel, 36, died of corona infection.

The village has been sealed since Saturday night. According to Ward Chairman Khatri, the entire village has been sealed from Saturday night to August 8.

According to Mohan Subedi, head of the health office in Udaypur, coronavirus infection was on the decline in the district till 10 days ago.

He said that the infection has increased of late.

Chief of the Health Office, Subedi said that PCR and antigen tests were being launched in all the villages by mobilizing a team of health workers from Sunday morning.
