Nepal records 2,760 new COVID-19 cases, 33 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 419 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,760 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,857 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 903 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 316 persons in Kathmandu, 74 in Lalitpur, and 29 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 419 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 33 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 4,017 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
