NEPSE increases by 19.12 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 19.12 points.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2843.00 points.

A total of 32.83 million shares of 224 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 6.70 billion.

Today, shares of all groups except non-life insurance have increased modestly.

Shares of banking group increased by 3 points, development bank by 152 points, trade by 19 points, hotel group by 138 points, and hydropower group by 21 points. Similarly, shares of the finance group increased by 63 points, microfinance, and manufacturing by two points, others by 37 points, life insurance group by 74 points, and investment group by 107 points.

The largest number of shares of NC Insurance Company worth Rs 307.2 million have been bought and sold. Shares of Oriental Hotel, Goodwill Finance, Green Development Bank, and Sindhu Development Bank have increased more than nine percent today. Despite the rise in the overall market, shares of Kumari Equity Fund have declined by 3.5 percent today.
