NEPSE decreases by 11.68 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 11.68 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2771.15 points.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index also decreased by 3.39 points and closed at 496.86 points.

Out of the 13 groups traded today, the development bank, life insurance, and other indices increased, while the mutual fund, microfinance, non-life insurance, hydropower, hotels and tourism, trade, manufacturing and processing, and investment finance groups all declined.

A total of 197.83 million shares of 216 companies were bought and sold on Tuesday, resulting in a turnover of Rs 8.59 billion. Kalika Power Company Limited is the highest earner in the market.

Lumbini Development Bank is in second place. The share price of Kalika Power Company Limited has increased by 10 percent. The share price of Lumbini Development Bank has increased by 8 percent.
