KATHMANDU: The first batch of vaccines donated by Xizang (Tibet) Autonomous Region has arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

A Nepal Airlines plane with 800,000 doses of vaccine landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.

In a telephonic conversation with President Bidya Devi Bhandari last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping had announced a grant of one million doses of vaccine.
