BARDIYA: A 66-year-old woman died in a tiger attack at Madhuban Municipality-5 in Bardiya district.
The tiger attacked Nandakala Thapa Chhetri claiming her life while she was collecting fiddlehead fern (Niguro) in Beljhundi Community Forest.
Superintendent of District Police Office, Bardiya, Ishwari Karki said that the woman’s dead body was recovered in the forest while carrying out a search.
