Former PM Khanal being shifted to Norvic hospital for COVID-19 treatment



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of CPN-UML Jhala Nath Khanal who had been undergoing coronavirus treatment in Manmohan Memorial Hospital in Thamel is being shifted to Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali citing his critical condition.

According to sources, Khanal’s health condition is said to critical of late.

Similarly, UML leader and former Minister Modnath Prashrit also tested coronavirus positive. Leader Prashrit is also undergoing treatment at Manmohan Memorial Hospital.

Coronavirus cases have risen alarmingly in the country. In the last 24 hours alone, 5,763 coronavirus infection cases were reported across the country.
