Speaking to media people on Saturday, PA speaker Netra Nath Adhikari said that further action on the no-confidence motion will be taken soon by convening a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the PA.

The special session of PA called for the discussion on no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung on April 26 was postponed indefinitely after Rastriya Janamorcha lawmaker Khim Bikram Shahi went missing all of a sudden.

Janamorcha’s Chief Whip Piyari Thapa, on April 28, had registered an application in the provincial parliament Secretariat demanding that the status of the party’s lawmaker Shahi be made public.

The opposition parties, including Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center and Janata Samajbadi Party. which filed no-confidence motion against government have been alleging that Shahi was ‘kidnapped’ by the province government.
