Virus-infected man commits suicide at corona temporary hospital in Rupandehi



KATHMANDU: A COVID infected person has committed suicide in a toilet of a temporary corona hospital in Sainamaina Municipality, Rupandehi, on Saturday morning.

The deceased is identified as 40-year-old man of Ranibagiya of Sainamaina. He was admitted to the municipality-run COVID facility after testing positive for the disease on April 29.

The hospital expressed shock at his act of hanging self as his health condition was normal. He was admitted to the facility at the request of his family though he was in good health, the hospital added.

The temporary corona hospital in Sainamaina Municipality came into operation only three days ago and is treating 9 infected persons.
