Senior artist Madan Krishna Shrestha urges all to take COVID-19 pandemic seriously



KATHMANDU: Senior artist Madan Krishna Shrestha, who returned home after spending eight tiresome days in hospital fighting against the new variant of coronavirus, has urged all to abide by health safety protocols and take better care of health at home.

In a video message posted on his social media on Friday evening, the legendary artist Shrestha has appealed all not to underestimate the damages the pandemic might cause to a person, community and the world.

In his heart-touching appeal, Shrestha has revealed that all five members of his family had hard time with coronavirus pandemic this time.

“This variant of coronavirus is worse and more dangerous than the previous one,” the legendary actor has said in a tired voice, “Unlike the previous variant that weakened the immunity, it seizes the energy as well, hence, it’s deadly.”

Shrestha has urged all to put on mask mandatorily, wash hands frequently and avoid unnecessary movements as precautionary measures against the pandemic.
