CoAS Thapa administers COVID-19 vaccine

KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Purna Chandra Thapa administered COVID-19 vaccine on Monday.

Thapa administered vaccine at the Nepal Army’s Birendra Hospital in Kathmandu.

The government started the vaccination drive on January 27.

In the first phase, garbage and sanitation workers, ambulance/hearse drivers and co-drivers, direct service health workers, vaccination center security guards and volunteers, women’s health volunteers, international entry point health workers and security guards, old age home staff, prison guards and health workers were vaccinated against COVID-19.
