Police nab one with illegal Indian currency in Siraha

SIRAHA: Police have arrested an Indian national from Siraha with illegal Indian notes last evening.

According to Siraha Police, Chaturi yadav, 60, of Saharsha Gram Kishanpur-2, was held with three notes of INR 1000 and 88 notes of INR 500 from the district.

The sum of the seized money equals to INR 250,000.

During the inspection of BR 06 AN 0357 motorcycle, a team of police deployed from Khirauna Police Post found the amount hidden in the trunk of the motorcycle.

The recovered Indian currency has been handed over to Siraha Customs Office for necessary action.
