KATHMANDU: The bilateral T20 cricket series between Nepal and Qatar has been postponed over the growing risk of the coronavirus in Qatar.

The tournament was slated to be held in Qatar from February 9 to 12.

According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the series that was scheduled to be held on the occasion of ‘Qatar Sports Day’ at the invitation of the Qatar Cricket Association has been postponed.

“The training camp of the national cricket team scheduled for the tournament has also been postponed until further notice,” the association said in a statement.
