Bhim Rawal accepts Rs 3 million was withdrawn from party’s bank account



DHANGADHI: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader and Sudurpaschim Province In-charge Bhim Rawal has claimed that the election symbol sun belongs to his faction.

“The legitimate party and the election symbol are ours, Rawal said, “Let’s not be confused, we will get legitimacy,” he said during a cadres’ meet on Friday

He said that the party had intervened after Prime Minister Oli continued to act against nationalism and law and order.

Leader Rawal admitted that the money in the bank account of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Committee has been withdrawn.

“Our province committee secretary and office secretary have sent the money to other places for the party’s special work,” Rawal said. “Some money was spent on our work.”

Rawal also said that the Province President Karna Thapa had threatened him saying that the money had been withdrawn.

“A total of Rs three million in the account has been withdrawn by Province Secretary Nep Bahadur Chaudhary and Office Secretary Dinesh Chandra Subedi,” said Rawal, “It was wrong for the Province President to threaten saying that the money has been withdrawn. No one will be intimidated by his threat.”
