HoR dissolution unfortunate: NCP leader Sharma

KATHMANDU: Leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Parliamentary Party at the National Assembly Dinanath Sharma has called the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) unfortunate.

He said it was unfortunate that the HoR was dissolved due to NCP’s internal feud.

Addressing the first meeting of the winter session of the National Assembly on Friday, Sharma said that it was regrettable that the HoR was dissolved due to the intra-party wrangling.

“What has happened is not good,” he said labelling the NCP split as one of the “saddest experience” of his political career.

“I was one of the happiest persons when two parties had merged to become the Nepal Communist Party. All of us were happy, indeed,” he said.

Stating that the party is at the crossroads due to political reasons and not on the basis of principles, ideas or philosophy, Sharma hoped that the leaders would come together again to reunite the party.
