Youth who died in Patan Hospital tests negative for coronavirus



KATHMANDU: The youth, suspected for coronavirus, who died in while undergoing treatment at the Patan Hospital ICU on Monday did not have coronavirus infection.

The person, who originally hailed from Dhading district, had returned from India a few days ago. He had come to the hospital with fever.

Patan Hospital sources said he was a kidney patient.

The test of the deceased’s sample at the National Public Health Laboratory in Teku showed he was not infected with coronavirus, Director at the Hospital, Dr Bishnu Sharma told Khabarhub.
