30 injured in Ramechhap jeep accident

RAMECHHAP: At least 30 people have been injured in a jeep accident in Ramechhap district today morning.

The accident occurred when a Bolero jeep bearing registration plate Ba 14 Cha 9498 heading toward Bhaktapur from Ramechhap plunged into a gorge at Khadadevi rural municipality-1.

Spokesperson at the District Police Office Ramechhap, Tekendra Poudel informed that while 27 injured have been taken to Dhulikhel hospital, three are undergoing treatment at a local health facility.

Police have arrested the driver.
