Two killed as motorcycle, scooter collide in Rupandehi

RUPANDEHI: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Sainamaina Municipality-8, Rajapur on Friday.

The mishap happened when a motorcycle, Lu 42 Pa 7096, collided with a scooter, Lu 42 Pa 7472, according to District Police Office, Rupandehi.

The deceased are Sudip Chaudhary, 20, and Nabin Chaudhary, 20, of Sainamaina-7, Bayarkatti. Both of them were traveling on the motorcycle.

Santaram Chaudhary who was traveling on the same motorcycle has sustained serious injuries in the mishap and is being treated at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

Tul Bahadur Gurung and Surya Bahadur Pun traveling on the scooter and pedestrians Sabitra Neupane and Chandra Bahadur Chhetri have been injured in the mishap.
