Nepali Congress should be responsible: Leader Singh



CHITWAN: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said the Nepali Congress should be responsible for this critical political situation.

Speaking in an interaction organized by the NC district committee on the 45th National Reconciliation Day here Thursday, leader Singh, also a former DPM argued that it was time to work for political stability.

He said that the NC should be responsible to end current political instability. Singh further said NC takes decisive roles and leadership to lead the nation in any kind of critical political period.

“It was a time to stand together to implement the constitution promulgated under the leadership of Nepali Congress,” he added.

The NC is marking the National Unity and Reconciliation Day commemorating the return of the party’s founding President BP Koirala from a long exile in neighboring India on the same day.

Similarly, NC central member Badri Pande blamed that the communist regime was derailing the state. He said, “NC accepts constitutional election but not unconstitutional.”

Nepali Congress District President Jit Narayan Shrestha, among other leaders, pointed out the need of the national unity at this critical hour.
