31,008 COVID-19 infected in home isolation

KATHMANDU: Out of 38,584 active COVID-19 cases, 31,008 people are in home isolation.

A total of 17,692 are in home isolation in Bagmati Province.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6,140 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 1,021 in Province 2, 3,402 in Lumbini Province, 850 in Sudurpaschim Province, 1,359 in Gandaki Province, and 544 in Karnali Province.

Meanwhile, as many as 2,508 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 170,743 with fresh cases as of Saturday afternoon.

A total of 2,264 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 131,222 in the country.

The recovery rate stands at 76.9 percent.
