73-yr-old dies due to coronavirus infection in Dharan



CHITWAN: A 73-year-old man has died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan on Saturday morning.

Originally from Gaurigunj Jhapa, the septuagenarian breathed his last at 6:45 am today, said Dr Ashish Shrestha, the deputy spokesperson of the hospital.

The elderly had been admitted to the hospital on October 23 after testing positive for COVID-19 on October 22.

The deceased had been suffering from heart ailments for a long time.
