Prez Bhandari says Nepal lost a good friend with Mukherjee’s demise



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that Nepal has lost a good friend with the demise of former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

Bhandari tweeted on Monday evening that she was shocked by the news of the death of former Indian President.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of former President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee today,” Bhandari tweeted, “On behalf of the Nepalis people, the government of Nepal and myself, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the people of India, the government of India and the bereaved family. Nepal has lost a good friend with his death.”
