Nepal permits team comprising Bahrain’s Prince to ascent Mt. Manaslu



KATHMANDU: The government has approved a group including the Prince of Bahrain to arrive in Nepal through a charter flight for mountaineering.

The proposal of the Ministry of Tourism was approved by the cabinet meeting held on Sunday.

Fifteen people from Bahrain including the Prince of Bahrain and three from the United Kingdom have been permitted to climb Mt. Manaslu.

It is said that the team will arrive in Nepal for the expedition after September 15.

Manaslu is the eighth-highest mountain in the world at 8,163 meters above sea level located in the west-central part of Nepal.
