Chitwan records one more death from coronavirus



CHITWAN: A 78-year-old man undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital died of coronavirus infection Monday morning.

Hospital’s COVID-19 Clinical Team coordinator Dr Pramod Poudel said the man of Bharatpur metropolis-6 breathed his last due to corona infection.

He was admitted to the COVID ICU of Bharatpur Hospital after he complained of respiratory complications on 18 August, Dr Poudel said.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus infection has reached 13 in Chitwan.

Meanwhile, the private sector has demanded removal of restriction enforcement which is continuous for the past third weeks.

Industrialists and business persons called for lifting the order citing collapse of trade and business.
