Prohibitory order extended in Rupandehi until Sept 5

RUPANDEHI:  Rupandehi has extended the prohibitory order until September 5 after the number of coronavirus cases surged in the district, of late.

A meeting of the District Crisis Management Center recommended the District Administration Office, Rupandehi to clamp the order to curb the coronavirus.

The prohibitory order imposed earlier expired on Sunday night.

As many as 61 coronavirus cases were reported in a single day in the district, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 880 in the district while nine people have died from the virus so far.
