KATHMANDU: The Muslim Commission has urged all the Muslims across the country to observe Eid al-Adha, which falls on Saturday and recite Namaz at home in view of the risk of COVID-19.
In a press statement issued by the Commission’s Chairperson Samim Miya Ansari on Friday, the Commission appealed to the Muslim community to keep themselves indoors and celebrate it, stating that the pandemic was not under control yet.
Stating that the festival gives the message of patience, world peace and brotherhood, Ansari urged the Muslims to celebrate the festival keeping themselves and their families safe from the deadly infection.
