Chief Minister Raut extends Bakar-Id wishes



JANAKPURDHAM: Chief Minister of State No 2, Lalbabu Raut, has extended best wishes on the occasion of the Bakarid festival, a big festival of the Muslim communities.

The festival falls on Saturday. In a message of best wishes issued by the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers Secretariat today, Chief Minister Raut extended greetings to all Nepalis within the country and abroad on the occasion of the festival of Eid-ul Ajaha (Bakarid).

He has wished that may brotherhood, and peace and happiness flourish in State No 2 as well as in the entire nation.

Chief Minister Raut has also prayed that may this festival which is being observed amidst the situation in which the whole world has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic help get rid of this pandemic.

Stressing on the need of fully abiding by the lockdown that the government has imposed in several places in the present crisis brought by the pandemic, he has urged the Islam adherents not to crowd but celebrate the festival at their homes as well as to pray for an end to this pandemic.
