Gandaki Province reports three new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province has reported three new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

According to Health Directorate, Gandaki Province, two fresh cases have been confirmed in Syangja and one in Tanahun.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in two men aged 27 and 40 years staying at quarantine of Galyang Municipality in Syangja.

Likewise, the infection has also been confirmed in a 28-year-old man staying in the quarantine of Rishing Rural Municipality in Tanahun.

Preparations are underway to take them to the concerned district hospitals, Health Directorate, Gandaki Province stated in a press statement.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in the Province has reached 24 in six districts.

Eight people have been infected in Baglung, seven in Syangja, six in Nawalparasi (Susta East), one each in Myagdi, Tanahun and Lamjung.

According to the directorate, three of the infected have recovered and returned home.
