Coronavirus kills 1, 079, infects 33, 062 in India



KATHMANDU: India has reported 1, 079 deaths from Coronavirus after 71 died in the last 24 hours.

With 1,738 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 33, 062.

Currently, 23, 546 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 8, 437 have returned home after recovery.

The India government has performed tests on 770,774 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 228,195 and infecting 3,219,246 people as of Thursday morning.
