Understanding MCC Compact the easy way



KATHMANDU: Amid speculations and criticism about the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) on social media and digital media platforms, the MCC Nepal Compact has published 24-page-long information clarifying that no conditions in it are against the spirit of the Constitution of Nepal.

The issue is currently being discussed widely, and concerns have surfaced in the social as well and mainstream media.

The MCC Nepal Compact has clarified that the Electricity Transmission Project and the Road Maintenance Project under it are priorities set by Nepal. It is a government agency under the Ministry of Finance.

The MCC Nepal Compact, meanwhile, has urged all sections of the society and the concerned people to make their opinion by going through the information.
