Brazil’s COVID-19 cases surpass 7.5 million



BRASILIA: Brazil registered 57,227 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 7,564,117 the Ministry of Health said.

Currently, 723,863 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals while 6,647,538 have returned home after treatment.

Meanwhile, 1,075 more fatalities from the virus were also reported on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 192,716, according to Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last Dcember, COVID-19 pandemic has killed 1,795,111 and infects 82,288,629 people until the filing of this news.
