ADBL hacking case: Nepali agent nabbed after one year



KATHMANDU: A Nepali agent of hackers has been arrested in connection with the Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) hacking case.

He was nabbed one year after the crime was executed.

The Metropolitan Police Crime Division arrested Khamb Ghale, 54, of Ruby Valley Rural Municipality-1, Dhading, a Nepali agent of foreign hackers, from Swoyambhu on Sunday, said Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Thapa.

The gang was active in infiltrating the financial system of the bank by the people involved in organized crime and causing a loss of about Rs 50 million to the bank.
