Foundation stone laid for Muktinath Bikas Bank’s central office building



KATHMANDU: Muktinath Bikas Bank has laid the foundation stone of a central office building on its own land in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Bharatraj Dhakal paid homage to the land on the occasion.

Members of the Board of Directors, shareholders, customers and employees of the bank were present at the ceremony.

The bank has stated that it will be easy to make the service more standard and efficient by completing the construction of the building soon and relocating the central office to its own building.

The bank has made arrangements to withdraw money from any ATMs under the Visa network free of charge to promote digital banking business to make customers safe from the coronavirus infection.

Similarly, mobile banking, QR code scan, online loan application, online account opening, internet banking, remittance deposit in the account, etc. can be done from home without attending the bank branch.

At present, it has 138 branches.
