One killed, 17 injured in Achham bus plunge



ACHHAM: One passenger died and 17 others got injured when a bus heading to Dhangadhi from Achham somersaulted at Chaurpati-7, Marku on Monday morning.

According to District Police Office, Achham, Niraj Kunwar, 17, of Sanfebagar-3, died and 17 others got injured when the bus, Na 4 Kha 9972, met with an accident.

Inspector Lokendra Singh Gurung said that badly injured Kunwar died while being rushed to Bayalpata Hospital and other injured passengers are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

The bus skidded off the road and fell some 60 meters down.
