Normal life hit as mercury dips to 5.4 degree Celsius in Valley



KATHMANDU: The normal life in the Kathmandu Valley has been affected as the temperature went down to 5.4 degree Celsius on Monday morning.

The temperature will reach up to 20 degree Celsius during the day today, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The Tarai region is covered in thick fog and light snowfall has occurred in the high hilly and mountainous region. According to the division, there is no significant weather system and it is clear throughout the country.

The MFD has forecast fair weather today and tonight. Partly cloudy weather is expected in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Province 1, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces and fair weather in the rest of the country.
