Province-2 sees 49 fresh cases of coronavirus, 597 discharged on Wednesday



JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 witnessed 49 new cases of coronavirus taking the coronavirus case tally to 13,527 on Wednesday.

According to Bijaya Jha, the Senior Public Health Administrator at the Province Health Directorate of Province 2, the province saw 13 fresh cases of COVID-19 in Siraha, 12 in Parsa, 9 in Bara, 6 in Dhanusha, 3 in Mahottari and 1 each in Rautahat and Saptari in last 24 hours.

He added that there had been 4 cases among the people from outside but residing in Province 1.

Similarly, including 175 in Sarlahi, 155 in Mahottari, 150 in Dhanusha, 90 in Rautahat, 13 in Siraha and 7 each in Parsa and Saptari, 597 people have been discharged after recovery today.

With this, the number of discharged cases has reached 10,542 in the province.

Likewise, the province saw 2 coroanvirus death cases in last 24 hours making the coronavirus death tally of the province 133.
