Prohibitory order lifted in Rukumkot



RUKUM: Prohibitory order imposed at Rukumkot of Rukum (East) has been lifted from 12 midnight yesterday. The prohibitory order was imposed one week ago.

A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre held today informed this. The District Administration Office had imposed the prohibitory order from September 23 midnight after coronavirus infection in community-level in the district.

Normal life in Rukumkot has started turning to normalcy after the prohibitory order was lifted, said Chief District Officer, Raj Kumar Rai.

The District Administration Office would carry out monitoring whether the district folks have adopted health security criteria.

A total of 74 people tested positive in the district so far.
