IPL2020: Hyderabad registers 15-run win against Delhi



KATHMANDU: Sunrisers Hyderabad has registered a 15-run win against Delhi Capitals in the 11th match under the Indian Premier League held in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday night.

Delhi Capitals scored only 147 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets while chasing a 163-run target set by Sunrisers Hyderabad for it.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Hyderabad made 162 runs losing four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Jonny Bairstow top-scored with 53 runs in 48 balls including three fours and two sixes, skipper DA Warner made 45 runs in 33 balls while KS Williamson contributed 41 runs for Hyderabad.

Hyderabad which is in the sixth position had lost two previous matches. It had lost the first match to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 10 runs and by seven wickets to Kolkata Knight Riders in the second match.

With this win, Hyderabad has collected two points from three games. This is the first loss of Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane-involved Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals is in the second position with four points from three games.
