COVID-19 cases in Gandaki Province reach 2,123

KASKI: Total coronavirus cases in Gandaki Province have reached 2,123 with the confirmation of 24 new cases.

A test conducted at the Tuberculosis Treatment Center, Pokhara, found the news cases, according to the Gandaki Health Directorate.

A total of 22 infected are from Bhanu Municipality of Tanahun.

One out of two women of Tamankhola-2 in Baglung is a health worker. Another is a local businessman.

All others have been identified through contact tracing, it stated, adding that preparations are being made to take all the infected people to the isolation center.
