16 new COVID-19 cases in Karnali Province



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 16 more people in Karnali Province on Tuesday.

The Karnali Health Services Division of the Ministry of Social Development in a statement confirmed the new cases.

A test conducted at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences in Jumla has confirmed the infection in 12 patients and four in a test conducted at Bheri Hospital Nepalgunj Banke.

The newly infected people are eight from Rukum West, three from Dailekh, one from Banke, two from Dolpa and two from Kalikot.

With the new case, total cases in the province have reached 1,443.
