Police nab two in murder allegation

BIRATNAGAR: District Police Office Sunsari has arrested two persons under murder allegation from Baraha Chhetra on Saturday.

According to DSP Suman Timsina of Province 1 Police Office Biratnagar, Ganesh Limbu, 22, and Pradeep Raj Dhami of Baraha Chhetra are nabbed in allegation of the murder of Kamal Rai, 37, of Baraha Chhetra-3.

Sunsari Police had found the dead body of Kamal Rai in the plotted field of Ikrahi, Baraha Chhetra on Friday morning.

DSP Timsina said that the police initiated probe taking it for murder as the deceased Rai had bruises on his head and body.

During the inquiry, the arrested duo has confessed hitting Rai on the head and sensitive part of his body mercilessly as they wanted to take revenge against him.

The police say that it has been carrying out investigation further.
