Number of COVID-19 infected Nepalis in Kuwait climbs to 51



KATHMANDU: The number of Nepali people infected with Coronavirus in Kuwait has surged to 51.

According to Nepali Ambassador to Kuwait Durga Prasad Bhandari, the number of Nepali nationals has reached 51 after 22 new cases were reported on Tuesday.

Earlier, 29 people were reported to have been infected with the novel virus in Kuwait.

According to latest figures collated by Worldometer, Coronavirus has infected 3, 440 and killed 23 people in Kuwait as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 2,241 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals of which 67 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,176 have returned home after recovery.
